I've driven by Leon's Custard hundreds of times while working -it's right across the street from St. Luke's Hospital. I've never stopped in because I didn't want to eat custard by myself. I'll eat Italian Beefs all day by myself - just not custard. Leon's opened in 1942 and, in a city full of great custard restaurants, it is legendary.
Even Cal liked the chocolate custard.
Cal's getting restless because of all the shady people in the parking lot. That's another reason I didn't want to go by myself.
Lilly had a great time too. Man, that little girl has my heart! It was a fun experience to finally see what the fuss was all about. Leon's is very good but I think that Oscar's is still our favorite.
