I don't even have the words to explain the sorrow and loss Matt and I are feeling right now. We had to make the very difficult decision to put our beloved Wrigley to sleep this morning. Yesterday when Matt came home he noticed she was bleeding. We rushed her to our new vet where we learned that she did not have inflammatory bowel disease as our other vet had diagnosed but instead a large tumor on her colon. After running a few tests the vet informed us that it was an aggressive form of cancer and she would not have long to live. The last few months have been very hard on her and us. She has been through so much and dealt with it so well. We love her and will miss her more than we can explain. She was a wonderful dog and our faithful friend. Please pray for Matt and I as we grieve and try to deal with this loss. It's so hard to imaging life without our wonderful companion. We love you Wrigley.

I am so sorry that you lost your wonderful pet. She was the most loving, best behaved dog I have ever known. I will miss her too. Of course, I am praying for all of you.
Oh Gretchen... Oh Weis family.
I am SO SO sorry. Feel very tender & sensitive for you guys right now.
Not even sure what all to say, except thoughts and a tender heart for you all. I'm sure it has not been an easy time at all, I'm sure it's been a hard day.
Hugs for you guys.

Oh, Gretch!! I am so sorry!! It's not easy. I still remember the day we had to put Pandi down. And I still miss her- years later. Pets our family. You guys will be in my thoughts.
P.S. Pandi's a shy little cat, but I'm sure she'll keep Wrigley company :)
