Matt is officially a runner! He competed in his first race, the Blarney 5K, to benefit the Wauwatosa Historical Society. The weather was perfect for running. By the time we got there it was in the 50's and sunny. Lilly and I enjoyed getting outside and getting to watch Matt was so much fun for us. We were so proud to see him come across the finish line! Despite the slight chill in the air and the hills Matt had a great time of 28:05! He did so well! Now Lilly and I need to start training for the next race!

Hey, MATT>>>WOW.. we are so proud of you! so admirable, and you can really see you are in good shape and taking charge of your fitness. i am so jealous. fantastic. dad now says, "i'd better start biking so I can get into shape too!!"
