We had our first family run this morning and it was a complete success. The run was just down the street from our house and it was to benefit Wisconsin Lutheran College Athletics. It was my first run ever and although it was pretty cold, Lilly and I made it across the finish line in under 37 minutes! Lilly was great. She slept the entire time all curled up in her cozy jogger. We ran it with our friends Preston and Jennifer Cosgrove. Jennifer ended up being the first girl to finish at 19:26! Preston was only about two minutes behind her and Matt beat his previous time finishing in 26:46! Way to go Matt! We had a great time despite the 40 degree temps and cloudy day. My favorite part of the whole day was the breakfast at Denny's Matt treated me to for finishing. It was all worth it!
