Lilly has been learning and doing so many new things lately. She is just about a year and a half. She doesn't say much (like her Uncle Jonnie) but seems to understand everything. Tonight Matt and I started giving her commands to see how many she would do. It was hilarious to watch her go from running, to twirling, to jumping, to sitting, and finally lying down as we told her to. Although she doesn't say very much she does know a few words: Elmo, Wrigley, Momma, Dadda, ball, mouth, nose, eye, snow, baby, and a few more.
Meal times are becoming so much fun. As we all sit down together to pray Lilly folds her hands together and tries so hard to close her eyes. When Matt and I open our eyes at the end of our prayer Lilly is beaming with excitement. I wonder if she thinks we are playing a game of peek-a-boo with her. It is so much fun to watch this big, silly, personality come out of this tiny, little girl.
Another adorable little thing that Lilly does you can see in the picture below. When she is concentrating or trying to do something difficult her little tongue comes out. You can see so much determination in her little face.
