Big Girl Bed

As Lilly's second birthday approaches (September 10th) and we prepare for another baby (Late September), we're realizing that Lilly needs to start transitioning into her big sister role. So in comes the "big girl bed". Although she probably won't sleep in it for another 6 months or so we were so excited to put it up last night, most of all Lilly (okay... I was a close second). I found the bed on craigslist and the girl I bought it from threw in the Pottery Barn bedding as well, which matches the nursery perfectly. When they brought it over last night we rearranged the room a little and before too long Lilly was curled up with her blankie and her lambie. I had to at least see if she would sleep in her new bed. So, we said our prayers and tucked her in and waited. In a few minutes when I went to check on her she was standing in the middle of her room crying. Apparently, she's not ready for the big girl bed yet, which is fine because I'm not quite ready for my baby to grow up either.
