I'm not what an educated person would call, "a book completer". The few books I have read in my life have been either Hardy Boys or John Grisham novels. I've heard my friends discussing great Christian books and I've never read any of them. I set the goal of 3 books because I thought it really might take me close to 3 years to finish them. I didn't realize how eager I would be to read these right away. The first book I read was "Mere Christianity". I enjoyed it so much that I immediately got on Amazon to get some ideas for the next book I would read. I then read "The Father Connection" and finally, "The Ragamuffin Gospel". Josh McDowell's "Father Connection" was a good lesson on being a Godly parent. It offers practical ideas to build strong relationships with kids through scripture. "Ragamuffin Gospel" gives hope to all Christians that even the least of us has a spot reserved for us in heaven if we'll just claim it. I've really enjoyed reading these last few weeks and I don't want to slow down... I just bought "The Case for Christ", "The Jesus I Never Knew" and "Dracula". Dracula's going down next...
