Last week Lilly learned to climb out of her crib so since then we have been transitioning her to her "big girl bed". This transition has been a little difficult at times. The first night it took us 3 hours to get Lilly to go to sleep. And now we've finally had to move all the toys and books out of her room and put child locks on the doors to keep her in and unoccupied. Lately things have been going really well. We have gotten a good bedtime routine going and she has come to love her new bed. Every morning we ask her where she slept last night and she proudly replies "big girl bed". Today for nap, Daddy read her a few books and put her down for nap as usual. She ended up talking and playing for about 40 minutes so after she fell asleep I thought I better check on her. I was a little startled and worried when I opened the door to find an empty bed. After I let my eyes adjust I scanned the room. There she was, curled up with her lambie and her blankie, fast asleep on her table.

Too funny!! My mother-in-law said she couldn't find one of the boys during a nap one time... eventually found him asleep behind the closet door.

Now that's what I call comfortable!
I came back and checked all my comments to see if anyone said anything like, "Oh that Jimi is so funny. How does he think of those things?" Like Mom usually says about Matt and his status updates on Facebook. But not a single person made a peep about it! I'm upset.
