Ice Breaker Indoor Marathon

Here are a few pics from Matt's indoor marathon at the Pettit Center this weekend. He did a great job - finishing in 40th place with his best time to date. It was a lot of fun to be able to see Matt run so much of the race. The 26.2 mile race was about 95 laps. We were only there for the last 25 and that was just enough for us. Matt's mom was able to come watch as well which was really wonderful. We were all proud but Lilly was the most excited. The look on her face when we came into the big arena and in the midst of all these people was her daddy! My favorite part of the day - Lilly running the last stretch with Matt across the finish line and they placed the medal around her neck. What a fun way to finish.

Lilly taking off to finish the marathon with daddy!

Matt and his good friend and college roomate Andrew. Andrew is also a crazy marathoner - his goal is 50 marathons in 50 states.

Way to go guys! You did a great job!

Thanks for including me! It was so much fun! It's also pretty neat having the cutest kid in the building walking around holding your hand!
