Chocolate Zucchini Cake

My mother-in-law has given me some great recipes over the years and the following is one of our very favorite. I made it the other day and I thought I would share. So, thank you Lynne for passing this on to our family. We love you!

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups grated zucchini (with skin)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup buttermilk (or 1 T. vinegar mixed with 1/2 cup milk)
3/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup chocolate chips (mini or regular)

Cream margarine, oil, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs: beat well. Mix in zucchini. Mix flour, cocoa and baking soda. Add flour mixture to zucchini mixture. Mix in milk. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle with 3/4 cup chopped walnuts and 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips. Bake @ 325 for 50-55 minutes (or until toothpick comes out clean). ENJOY!!!

But can jimi TELL there is zucchini in it??? with a magnifying glass?
