Tis' the season...

The garage sale season is here! I love bargain hunting and there is no better way to do it than digging through other peoples junk that they've laid out in their front lawn. The kids and I got up early and left a very sick daddy at home to get some rest.

It was a beautiful day and I had a lot of fun just walking around. The best part of the morning was the look on Lilly's face when we walked up to a house (or store, as Lilly called it) and saw a shiny red tricycle. She was smiling from ear to ear. She hopped on and started pedaling. By the time I turned around she had taken off down the driveway. As the ladies working the sale began to cheer I chased after her. When we got home she spent more time on her new tricycle and it was still on her mind as I put her to bed tonight. Pretty good for $7.

Lilly wasn't the only one who found a great deal. Calvin's new toy was this tiger xylophone. He sat in the pack n' play and played some tunes for Lilly as she rode around.

I love them! Love them, love them! And I love your blog...can I just say that after reading about Matts 101 goals I had a fun conversation with Greg about making our own list...tell him thanks for the inspiration. Your family is just so yummy! Is it just me, or does Calvin look like his uncle eric? Just sayin.

Hey Gretch! I'm loving your blog. What a great mom you are. I'm wondering if you know where to get Cubs tickets for a good deal. I'd like to get tickets for Ronnie for Father's Day, and I know you guys go to a lot of games so you might know where to look for deals! Thanks!

And I think Calvin looks like Eric too!
