July 4th

We start out every 4th by running the Firecracker 4 in Hales Corners with the Boecks. This year we had a big group of friends running it which made it even more fun. Here is a before picture. We ended up leaving the kids with Melissa's mom who was kind enough to watch them during the run. That way I could focus on my goals: #1 - run all 4 miles without walking #2 - not to throw up like I did last time.

After the race. I made one goal! I ran all 4 miles without stopping... but my pre race banana came back up after I crossed the finish line.

The rest of the day, with the exception of nap time, was spent in the Boeck's backyard. Eli let his friends play with his new toy - which they all loved! Their smiles were priceless.

Lilly must've learned to drive like her mother. It was a little scary. Casey's just really brave.

The kids eating at the kid table. Andy and Mel cooked up some chickens on the spit. They were so delicious!

The boys playing the yard before heading over to the park for Fireworks.

I love this picture. Isnt' my husband handsome. :)

I wasn't able to catch a good picture of it but the kids had so much fun running the bases while we waiting for the fireworks to start. It was hilarious watching the kids take off to 1st base and poor Lilly takes off for 3rd. :)

The whole gang

Me and my girl.

Lilly and Daddy after the fireworks and still hours away from bedtime. Lilly stayed up until midnight. She didn't even fall asleep on the way home. I guess she had such a fun filled exciting day it was too hard to go to sleep.

hey,
I see you have a phil and ted stroller... can you run with it? Or do you bump the back baby? I've seen them and think they are great looking, but not sure if you could actually run with it? Great photos!
