Go to a Major Concert - U2!

 

After a nice weekend of camping, Gretchen and I headed down to Soldier Field to see one of my top 3 bands of all time... U2!

We were pretty exhausted from camping so I grabbed two 5-hour energy shots while I was getting gas.  I've wanted to try this for a long time and we both agreed we could use a boost of energy.  Gretchen took one whiff and said "I hope this doesn't taste like cough syrup".  I took one sip and said, "Wow, I wish this tasted like cough syrup."  Pretty nasty tasting but I think we both got the boost we needed to get us down to the show.

 

The stage was GIGANTIC! 

 

Here we are after Snow Patrol played and now we're getting amped up for U2.  I can't  be certain, but I think we were the only Americans at Soldier Field that night.  They really are one of the top rock bands in the world.

 

The best concert I've ever been to!  At one point, Bono brought a boy up from the crowd and together, they ran a lap around the entire stage.  The crowd went crazy!  

 

Thanks, Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam!  You guys were freaking awesome!  Come play Wauwatosa sometime.
