Lilly and I had a great time ice skating at the Pettit Center this week.
We held hands the whole time. I really enjoyed getting to spend so much time - just the two of us.
Here's a picture that Lilly took of me. (Don't worry, she wasn't on the ice at the time.)
The ice was freshly zambonied (That's the term, right?) so it was VERY slick. I think if Lilly would have let me (and if I was careless enough) I could have flung her on her bottom from one end of the ice to the other.
It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to take her again!
Here's an exchange between Lilly and Gretchen after we got home...
Gretchen: "Did you have fun?"
Lilly: "Yes!"
Gretchen: "Was Daddy good at skating?"
Lilly: "Yes, but I wasn't."
Gretchen: "Did you fall?"
Lilly: "Yeah, Lots of times." (Don't worry - she never really fell... I was holding her hand.)
What a trooper!
