MPM

I took the kids to the Milwaukee Public Museum this morning. It's free on Mondays for Milwaukee County residents so we packed a lunch and headed out. My friend Jessica met us there and we had a great time. Jes and her crew left after lunch but the kids and I were having so much fun that we stayed until after 2pm. Cal slept for a little bit and Lilly and I were able to walk around and look at the exhibits. When we got to an exhibit of a an Okapi, Lilly commented that it "was wearing zebra legs".

The kids in the butterfly wing.

Jessica gets a butterfly to show the kids.
Lilly was trying so hard to get a butterfly on her finger. You can see the determination on her face.

Lilly and Calvin loved all the animals.

My family and I spent a lot of time at the museum when we were growing up so it's always fun to return to a place with so many memories. And just like Uncle Jonnie and Uncle Jimi, Lilly loved pushing the secret button to make the rattle-snake rattle.
