Saturday was a day full of eggs. We hunted for them, ate jelly beans out of them, and finally colored them. We started out at our church for their Easter Egg Hunt. As we were getting ready to leave Lilly turns to me and says "I'm so exciting"! The kids had a great time. The plan was to have a helicopter come drop 400 pounds of candy on the soccer field, but it was raining so plan B was implemented - having the kids grab the candy off the gym floor. :) The girls loved it and came away with a lot of candy.
Then after dinner we hard-boiled some eggs and the girls all worked on coloring the eggs. They had a fun time and did really well even though I forgot to buy white eggs. Ooops. A few cracks made for some colorful deviled eggs but I'm told they still taste okay.

Oh, that's a bummer it rained. I was hoping to see a picture of the helicopter dumping candy :)
