Didn't quite do it...

The 1,001 day project is over and I finished 96 out of 101 goals.  I still plan on finishing the 5 remaining goals, I just won't have that sense of accomplishment that comes with blogging and checking them off the list.

I'm really thrilled to look back at the last 1,001 days and reflect on what I've accomplished.  Here's the progress list: Matt's Goals

I think the most obvious crazy accomplishment that I never saw coming 3 years ago was running my first 19 marathons.  I've found a new sport that I really enjoy.  On my original goals list, I had "run 1st marathon".  It's funny to think that less than 3 years later, I'm now training to run my 20th!

This was an awesome and experience and I got so much more done because of this blog.  Thanks for checking in and holding me accountable :)  I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to do another list of goals.  I like the accountability and it feels really good to check stuff off, it's just a lot of work!  I know my brother is going to do another list so maybe that will seal the deal.  I have a draft of goals and I'm up to 85 things I'd like to do.  Send me some suggestions!

I have 74 written for my next list. I'm constantly thinking of what to add to the list. I'll publish mine on my other blog for you to check out to help with other suggestions.
19 marathons! Way to go. 3 (plus 1 in Champaign when I did the 5K) were with me. I really appreciate your help in motivating me to finish my list!
You are right, blogging and keeping track of this stuff is a lot of work.
