First Day of 4K

 I told her not to, but Lilly went ahead and grew up anyway. I know that I should've been ready for it but the other night at parent night I started crying when I was telling Lilly how I would drop her off at school. It sounded so weird... "drop you off". I've never dropped her off anywhere.


Lilly's first day of 4K went wonderfully. Not a tear was shed by anyone! Of course today was the easy day. Parents were invited to come to school and stay the entire time! I was so excited. It was a great way to transition Lilly (or Lillian as she has now decided she would like to be called) to school. Had I just dropped her off and left, today would have been much harder. Now, we are both ready for tomorrow, when she'll go to school all by herself. Nevertheless, I'll still cry.
