48. Go 1 month without fast food or soda
This might be easy for some people but I'm in and out of my car all day for work and sometimes it's hard to pass up some quick eats.
I've been eating much healthier the last month without fast food and I haven't had soda since sometime in 2011. I'm going to see if I can go all of 2012 without soda (I probably had 5 sodas TOTAL in 2011 so this wouldn't be that big a deal for me. Just fun to try.) Also, I've been tracking my calories daily and exercising more and I'm not sure I need to go back to the McDonald's dollar menu.
My staple meal at McD's was 2 McDoubles cheeseburgers, a small fry, chocolate chip cookies and a small chocolate shake. That adds up to over 1900 calories. FYI, for my height and weight, that's about how many calories I should eat for the entire day. I used to order that without even thinking about it! Yowza.
I'm not saying that I'm going to give up fast food permanently, I'm just going to be more picky about when, what and where I eat out. I really didn't miss it that much. I also saved a bunch of money by packing my lunch every day for the last month!

Great Job!
I can only imagine how difficult it is being on the road for a big part of the day. This is a real accomplishment! It is amazing how quickly calories add up in a fast food meal.
