98. Build a picnic table for the kids

Our growing family sure could use some more outdoor seating - mainly for the kiddos.  This has been on the "honey-do" list for a while and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Here are the materials - Total cost: a whopping $21.96

Photo evidence that I actually made this myself.

Sanding down the benches.  In regards to the sign in the back, I found it out by the curb on garbage day while working a summer in Atlanta.  Pre-marriage, I was actually allowed to hang it inside.  :)

Lilly and Calvin were very excited to try it out.  Lilly ran back inside to get a book to read at the table.  Cal just liked sitting there.

All stained and getting used just like we'd hoped.  Very sturdy table - It turned out great.  Feel free to come check it out sometime :)

Next to build a bigger table for the adults!

I have looked over the bench and I am off to try to recreate it. Thanks for all of the pictures from different angles.

Finished. Took me 2-3 hours. Sadly because I was working without plans, the kids were napping and was only working off pictures it is a little bit tall. No worries, they will grow into it.
I will post pictures after it gets painted.
