Our only boy turned 4. Calvin has been such a blessing. Matt and I will end most nights telling each other different Calvin stories. He is so loving and affectionate. He gets really excited about so many things and loves his sisters so sweetly. Lilly and Calvin will often cuddle and say "brother and sister together forever". They even call each other BFF's. I pray this never changes.
Our plan for Calvin's birthday weekend was to go camping with some friends up at Mirror Lake. Unfortunately, the weather dropped down to below freezing with highs in the 50's and rain. MISERABLE. CAMPING. WEATHER. So we decided to stay home and enjoy the weekend indoors, with heat.
Calvin was most excited for his gifts. It was hard to explain that he already got his big present (the jungle gym) weeks ago. He got some Cars 2 Lego, matchbox track, clothes, a Captain America costume and Matt and Cal's favorite another Transformer.
After gifts we needed to measure our growing boy. He ended up being the exact same height Lilly was at 4 years - 42.5".
