Matt's gone tonight (working in Green Bay) so I'm hurrying to get these pictures up on the blog so he can see them before he goes to bed. He always misses the kids so much on the nights he's away... and they are so darn cute I'd hate for him to miss a moment.
As I picked Lilly up from school this afternoon the kids asked to go to Piala's. The weather was perfect so we decided to walk. Piala's is a garden center near our house that has a Farmer's Market every Thursday as well as lots of animals that the kids love.
We picked up some great things at the Market. A pumpkin, a bunch of gourds, enough apples for an apple pie, and 2$ worth of honey sticks that Lilly ate in one sitting.
They also have a bird cage with peacocks (even beautiful all white peacocks) , doves, chickens, and rabbit named...
Our little Hazel loved watching the birds. It made me wonder if she will love animals as much as her big sister. Speaking of Lilly last time we were at Piala's Lilly got chased by a rooster and screamed so loud I thought she might pass out. Tonight she was trying to catch a turkey that wanders around the property. Once she got him cornered he ran past her and she jumped so high I thought she was about to fly.
These girls are so cute I can hardly stand it!
I adore these three!
The kids wanted me to take these pictures for Daddy (since he hates cats). They like to tease him about it. They'll often ask if he'd like to go to the pet store with them and get a cat, just to hear his reaction. It's pretty funny. ;)

Just looks so fun and sweet. To see your appreciation of your children is endearing. They are blessed with the parents that they have!
