Lilly is one year old today! We can't believe how time has flown and how much she has grown in the last year. It was so much fun to look back at the day she was born and how different life is now. She has been such a blessing this last year and we thank God for each day with her. It's funny but she seems so much older today. All the sudden she has turned into a little girl and I find myself wondering where my baby is? It may have a lot to do with her taking her first steps and learning to walk but she is really growing faster than I could have imagined. Everyone always tells you not to blink or you'll miss it... and it's true. This has been the fastest year of my life and I bet they keep speeding up.
We didn't have a big birthday party. We spent the day just the three of us enjoying our little family. Our favorite part of the day was playing with Lilly's new train that she got from her friend, Elijah. Melissa and Eli dropped it off during her nap and when she woke up to find a new toy she was thrilled. She spent the rest of the day laughing and playing. It was so much fun to watch her. Each time she found a new button on the train she would look up at me as if to say, "Look Mama, look what it can do". What a funny little girl!
