Longest run of my life (so far)

Today I ran farther than I ever have in my whole life. I ran 20 miles today with my roommate from Judson, Andrew Wells. We did the run in 2 hours and 59 minutes which came to an average pace of an 8:59 mile... It's crazy to think how far I've come in just over 1 year of running. In my first 5k in March of last year (click here), my average pace was a 9:03. What was once my 5k pace is now my 20 mile pace...

Wow, Great job Matt. Next comes the tapering to get your body ready for that Marathon. I can't wait to hear how well the race goes. Maybe you will win a medal or something!

I still have 5 weeks to go. I was only supposed to do 18 this weekend so I have to do 20 again in 2 weeks... Then the tapering starts!

All I have to say is "Wow" and "Why?" I could never do it!
