I did it! I'm 28. That sounds so much older than 27. I think that this is going to be a great year. It's been great so far. Lilly and I made a cake in the morning. It was the first cake I've ever made from scratch - frosting and all. Lilly loves helping and it turned out to be really delicious. Later in the afternoon Matt surprised me by setting up for his mom to come watch the kids so we could go out on a date. It was great. We had all afternoon to shop. Then we had a crazy good dinner at Stir Crazy, brownie hot-fudge sundae at Oscars and finished the evening with a movie. We saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and my sweetie came fully prepared with all my favorite candies. I love him.
