Gretchen suprised me with a trip to Chicago this weekend. The highlight of the weekend for me was (obviously) touring Wrigley Field. It was so cool to see the stadium from the player's perspective and I was amazed at just how out-dated so much of the stadium is!
Here I am in the visitor's locker room. Definitely nothing fancy about it...
Here's the visiting locker room's well-stocked bathroom. That's right... Multi-millionaire professional athletes share these 6 sinks. I got a kick out of the hair dryers on the counter. Who decided that 3 was enough? Did they at one time only have 2 hair dryers but people started complaining?
Here's the 2 time Central Division Champion's locker room. I thought there'd be more of a home-field advantage... Suprisingly, the Cub's locker room was about the same size as the visitor's.
Here's Lilly looking onto the field from the press box.
Here are Gretchen and Cal out in the bleachers.
I got a kick out of the urinal that's just steps from the Cub's dugout. No door - this is where real men come to pee. (I wanted to use it but was too scared to do it in front of the other people on the tour - specifically, the women and children).
A great family shot down on the field.
A view of the completely empty stadium from the bleachers.
