Last year, I bought a new lawn mower. I was happy to have a powerful machine that can handle the deep grass (Yes, we often have the lawn that the neighbors roll their eyes at...) Anyways, a couple months after I got it, I got the mower too close to the basketball hoop and nailed the blade on one of the giant bolts sticking up. I could tell right away that it wasn't cutting as crisply and that the blade was probably damaged. I'm so glad that I didn't sharpen it last summer because then I wouldn't be able to write a compelling blog post about it. I went to Lowes to figure out what I needed to sharpen the blade and when faced with the decision between the $12.99 sharpening tool or the $13.99 new blade, I opted for the brand new blade. By the way, if you've never looked under the lawn mower, the picture above show's the side that the baby bunnies see.

Why on earth would you mention baby bunnies and lawn mower blades in the same sentence?????
So, I guess this means that you didn't really reach your goal of sharpening a lawn mower blade since you bought a new one!!! (You once again made me laugh out loud in a sick way!)
