Pearl Jam has been my favorite band since I was in 8th grade. They are one of the few bands that I buy the album the morning that it goes on sale. I have over 20 Pearl Jam Live shows and albums and I never get tired of listening to them.
I went down to see PJ play at the United Center in Chicago with my friend Andrew. It was a Monday night show but the band really made it feel like Saturday night. They played 29 songs! Here's the set list. It's a very exciting time to be a Pearl Jam fan because their new album comes out next month. I've heard 2 of the singles (both online and at the show) and they're amazing. Here's their single, The Fixer. Good, right?
I'm so so so glad I made it down for the show. The hardest part was getting home at 2am and having to get up for work on Tuesday. Still SO worth it :) Can't wait to se them again!
Pearl Jam's new album, Backspacer, comes out September 22nd.
