Family Ties

My family was here to visit last week from Colorado. It was really great to be able to see them and spend some time together. I've really missed them since they moved a few years ago and now that my brothers are in college I see them even less. Before they moved the longest I had gone without seeing my parents or little brothers was maybe a month while I was at college. I was really excited to see my little brother, Jonathan, who I haven't seen in almost a year and a half. So... with that said here are some pictures of a visit that went way too quickly.

Bradford Beach:
We hit the beach on Thursday morning. The weather was great but the water was freezing. That still didn't stop Matt, Jon and Lilly from getting in.








Dancing in the Living Room:
Our neighbors stopped by unexpectedly one night with some hand-me-downs for Lilly. She was so excited and Matt and I were so thankful to our wonderful neighbors. They brought all their old ballet clothes as well as their old bike!





Milwaukee Public Museum:
With my parent's visiting we had to go to the Milwaukee Public Museum. When we first moved to Milwaukee in 1995 we lived just outside of the city and spent so many hours at the museum. It was fun to go back with them and see all the exhibits that we would look at so many years ago, and very fun to see them through Lilly's eyes.









Goodbye Pics:
Before Mom and Jon left to pick up Dad and Jimi we took a few last minute photos. It was then that I realized that I'd forgot to take a picture of everyone together. :(
