Wisconsin State Fair

My mum and little brother Jonathan are visiting us from Colorado so it was so fun to be able to take them to the State Fair today. They had never been to the Wisconsin State Fair which you may not think is a big deal since they are from Colorado... WRONG! They lived in Wisconsin for 20 years and have no excuse.

First off... Matt and I rode the ejection seat. It's about the scariest thing you can do at the fair. It's something Matt has wanted to do for a long time and something that I didn't want to do at all. AT ALL!!! Basically you are pulled down like a rubber-band and shot back up in the air... turning and twisting the entire time.

After the ride...


Back on the ground... Matt and I are still shaking at this point. Now that I think about though... it was fun and I would do it again.

After our ride... we wanted Lilly to have some fun.

Lilly wanted to do the power jump (which she would have loved) but got too scared and changed her mind. Probably because of the stupid thing she just watched her parents do.


Since Lilly didn't do the power jump we let her pick her own ride... she chose a Raiders of the Lost Ark obstacle course.


You can't tell but she's beaming!
