65. Ride the Ejection Seat at State Fair

We've gone to the Wisconsin State Fair every year since I moved to Wisconsin. We absolutely love the food (I tried chocolate covered bacon this year), the animals (my favorite is the pig race) and the location (it's just a few miles from our house). (See how many parentheses I fit in that sentence). We usually don't do many rides because we're too busy eating but I've always wanted to ride the "Ejection Seat". It's basically a gigantic slingshot that launches you 100+ feet into the air and then lets you bounce and flip around. With some convincing, Gretchen agreed to do it with me.

Here we are just a moment before launch.

Here we are just a second later.

Safe back on the platform. You can tell from of our faces that we had slightly different levels of enjoyment from the ride :) Also, one of my new favorite pictures of Gretchen.

There, now we're both smiling... I think we were both shaking for a good 5 minutes after we were done. Also, the first picture at the top is after the ride was over too.

50 out of 101 goals done!
