A few nights ago, we really enjoyed a great night out as a family. We went to dinner at Steak and Shake and then took Lilly bowling for the first time.
Cal always likes to have something on his head.
Lilly had bowled on the Wii before but really enjoyed doing it with a real ball.
Lilly was really fun to watch because her ball, literally, took about 10 seconds to get down the lane. It was neat to watch and cross our fingers to see if it had enough speed to knock any pins over. On one throw, the ball hit the pins right in the sweet spot but was going so slow that the ball bounced off and went into the gutter.
Lilly was more excited about her ball coming back out of the ball return than actually watching the ball hit the pins. In this picture, if you look closely, you can see that her ball hasn't even hit the pins yet!
Calvin got to sit back and keep score.
This is the best picture of the night. If you read the scores (M=Matt, L=Lilly, G=Gretchen), Gretchen only beat Lilly by 5 pins! Can't wait to go again to see if my three and a half year old can beat my wife!

Wow ...I am fairly confident Lilly could beat me. Maybe she'll be on a league someday?
