29 Years Old

Well... this is it - my last year in my twenties. I'm so sad. I had a great day (really weekend) celebrating my birthday with friends and family. Here's a quick recap and some fun photos.

Pretty huh? My friend Jessica and I went to get pedicures yesterday - my first time. It was very fun. How often do you think I can talk Matt into letting me do this?

After our girl time at the spa we had the DeGraff's and half of the Krause family over for an impromptu dinner.
Brynn, Warren and Lilly sticking out their tongues.

Jessica, Grayson, Bud, Calvin and Matt watching the Olympics. Matt's really getting into curling. We stay up almost every night (including tonight) watching curling.

Eva &Alyssa, - Dave and Luke had other plans :)

Then today after church we opened presents. Lilly was most excited to open (and then eat) the Starbursts she bought me. I was very excited about all my presents but most excited about my new detail sander from my husband (seriously - very excited). He is so thoughtful. I love him. Speaking of love... I love my children. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE
Aren't they adorable?

Lilly and I took a nice long nap together this afternoon. It was wonderful. I love napping with her... at least for a little while until she starts kicking me. Either way it was a wonderful way to spend my birthday.

Matt and I ended up being able to go on a date tonight as well. My mom came to watch the kids which for us and we got to go to dinner and a movie. It was so nice. I guess so far being 29 isn't all that bad. :)

Oh, I love pedicures. What a treat. I only get them when my mom takes me, which is a couple of times a year. It's always divine. Anyway, I can relate to your sadness. I'm 31 and I still have to think twice about that. 30's always seemed old to me, but I'm so young! :) Isn't that how it always is. Anyway, happy birthday and enjoy your adorable family.
