I finally did Crazy Legs! It's an 8k (4.97 miles) that benefits the University of Wisconsin Athletics and it draws a GIGANTIC crowd - 20,000+ for an 8k!
Here I'm in the starting corral. I was in "Wave M". The waves went all the way up to RR! I'm telling you, there were a lot of people there.
It was a nice cool morning and the rains held off so it made for great conditions to run.
Here I'm coming down the chute onto the field at Camp Randall Stadium. The video is extremely bouncy (Give me a break, I was running fast!).
Finish time of 36:54... 7:25 per mile. I enjoyed the distance so much, I'm now considering training to improve on my 5k time. The finish on the field was great, the atmosphere was phenomenal and (unlike marathons) I didn't feel sore at all afterwards!

Way to go! That's a great time. I like the picture with the capital building in the background. It's funny that the last time you got your picture taken there you rode your bike. Great job!
I will ALWAYS remember that Capitol building!
Ditto on your time! Great job!!
And I'm pretty sure I will always remember that Capitol building too! :)
