We've wanted to make this for a while. A large Scrabble tile sign with all of our names.
The hard part was making it so they were all exactly the same size and hung evenly. I made this jig to drill all the holes at the same angle so it was easy to hang.
Gretchen painted the letters and numbers onto each tile.
Hanging them was actually pretty easy because Gretchen made a cardboard outline to nail through.
Turned out pretty cool. I'm thinking about rubbing a stain on it to darken it just a bit. We'll sleep on it. It's kind of nice to just be done.
It was very important to Gretchen that we left room in case our family expands :)
