13. Florida Marlins Game

  While we were in Florida, we took in a Marlins game at Sun Life Stadium (also the home of the Miami Dolphins).

Here we are in front of the statue of Don Shula.

They were giving away Marlins flags - nice ones too!

The Marlins had to score 3 runs in the bottom of the 9th to beat the Dodgers 7-6.  It was a great game.  

  After the game, we stuck around for fireworks and a free concert.  New Boyz, Kevin Rudolf (Eric, I know you'll recognize "Let it Rock"), and Nelly (yes, that Nelly) put on a show for the dozens and dozens of people that stuck around.

  Here's the ball display I made a couple of years ago.  I get a souvenir logo ball at every new team I visit.
