We got back from Florida Tuesday night around 10pm. We promptly went into kiss and cuddle our precious kids while they were sleeping. Then started unpacking... and repacking for the Dells. Matt has a Physicians Assistant convention that he works at one of the waterparks every year and every year the kids and I are blessed enough to tag along. This year it's at the Wilderness Resort. I'm writing as I sit in the pitch black hotel room with Cal in his pack n' play and Lilly asleep in the couch next to me. Both completely worn out... as am I.
Here are the photos to prove it:
In the car on the way here.
The Waterpark... or at least one of them.
As soon as she saw, whatever this is, she immediately struck this pose. Weird.
Turns out Cal is not a huge fan of water. Tough weekend to learn that.
It's okay though. He's got Lilly looking out for him.
Here's a video (for the grandparents) of Lilly "swimming".
Having a snack poolside.
After a few hours of the water we found the 4-story high play place. We had a blast in there. We climbed all the way to the top and then, like a bobsled team, took a slide all the way down.
And then we found a candy store...
Lilly got one look at the candy shop and was amazed. Here she is showing me how big her smile is. I let her pick out one thing. At $11.99 per pound I was a little nervous but she picked this fun sucker for less than 2 bucks.
The kids were so worn out after such a long day. And if you've ever been to the Wilderness Resort you know how HUGE the place is. It must be a mile from our room to the waterpark. That's a long way for a kid to walk so I put both Lilly and Cal in the stroller. Cal was asleep by the time we got to our room.
Back in our room for a snack and a story.
Goodnight.

Aww Gretch! These are so cute! I love how you climbed to the top of the playplace with your camera. :) Also, Lilly looks so big!! I think it's the long legs! Looks like a great time.
